HOW PHYSICOOL WORKS
Physicool works by gently taking heat away from your joints rather than trying to force cold in.
Physicool bandages come pre-treated with special coolant, and as the coolant evaporates, latent heat is absorbed, drawing
swelling and inflammation out.
The bandage is manufactured using an open-cell weave which acts as a conduit for the coolant, it is 100% stretch cotton and contains no elastic and so cannot be over tightened.
It is also finished with a Velcro strap which ensures that it cannot create any pressure points.
The bandages need no prior refrigeration and are ready to use straight from the packet.
After 2 hours of use the bandages
will start to dry-out, then they can then be easily re-charged using the coolant, either by spraying the bandage in situ on the
limb or by placing it back in the resealable pack and adding some fresh coolant.
After recharging the bandages a few times they can be washed and re-used.

HOW TO USE PHYSICOOL
- Remove the rapid relief bandage from the foil recharge pouch
and squeeze any excess fluid back into the pouch. - Apply the bandage firmly to the affected joint.
- Physicool provides cooling, compression and support, whilst helping to ensure conformity of your joints.
- Secure the bandage with the self grip strap.
- Physicool reduces the temperature gradually and takes 10-15
minutes to go really cold. - The rapid relief bandage remains cold for 2-3hrs.
- The bandage can be re-charged whilst wearing by applying
coolant fluid directly to the fabric . - It can also be re-charged by placing it back into the resealable foil bag and soaking with cooling fluid.
- After several re-charges, the bandage can simply be washed,
dried, and replaced in the pouch with some coolant fluid. - Eventually, the bandage will begin to lose some elasticity and
should then be replaced.
